Hi, I’m Helen — founder of Photobooth by HK.

I launched in 2023, but my love for weddings and events started long before that (shoutout to binge-watching Say Yes to the Dress and anything featuring David Tutera). I was instantly drawn to the magic of celebration — the details, the energy, the emotion.

My first real experience in the industry came in college when I helped a friend with her wedding and event planning business here in Kansas City — and I was hooked. Since then, I’ve been part of everything from weddings and fundraisers to birthday parties and Bat Mitzvahs. I even planned both of my sisters’ weddings in the same year (It was a busy year!).

What’s always mattered most to me isn’t just the event — it’s how people feel in it. I love creating meaningful, memorable moments where every guest feels seen, celebrated, and part of something special.

That’s exactly why Photobooth by HK exists.

Photobooth by HK exists to serve others by creating joyful, meaningful moments that last long after the event ends. As a female-founded, Kansas City–based small business, I turn celebrations into lasting memories through intentional, personalized experiences.
