3 Years of Photobooth by HK

Three years ago, I started Photobooth by HK with no business plan just a dream that I could create something people would genuinely want to be a part of their events.

What started as a creative side hustle has grown into something so much bigger than I ever imagined. Over the last three years, I’ve had the honor of celebrating weddings, birthdays, corporate events, graduations, fundraisers, baby showers, and so many once-in-a-lifetime moments alongside all of you.

The photos are only part of it.

What I’ve loved most is getting to be part of the little moments people don’t always see:

• helping nervous wedding parties loosen up before photos

• moving the camera so everyone fits in the frame

• fixing props between sessions

• hyping people up when they say they “aren’t photogenic”

• watching grandparents take silly photos with their grandkids

• seeing guests leave with photos they immediately treasure

Those tiny moments are what built this business. I know I will always show up on time and do my best.

To every single person who has booked, referred, shared a post, left a review, or supported this business in any way: thank you. Truly. Small businesses survive because people choose them again and again, and I never take that for granted.

As I look ahead to year four, I’m feeling incredibly grateful and excited for what’s next. More celebrations, more creativity, more memories, and probably a few more late-night setup drives with iced coffee in hand.
