The Wedding Trends I Hope Never Go Away
I’m at multiple weddings every weekend, and after seeing countless celebrations unfold, I’ve started to notice the details that make me genuinely excited when I see them.
The best wedding trends aren’t just about looking good in photos—they’re about creating moments your guests actually experience and remember.
Here are the trends I hope never go away:
Signature Cocktails
There’s something so fun about a drink that feels like you as a couple. Whether it’s a favorite cocktail, or a nod to your fur baby, there’s something so fun about getting a little glimpse into what or who, is important to the couple. Especially when it involves a creative name!
Photo Booths (obviously)
A great photo booth isn’t just a place to take pictures—it becomes an experience. It gets grandparents, college friends, coworkers, and cousins all together creating memories they’ll actually take home.
(And yes, I’m biased—but after seeing guests line up all night, I stand by it.)
Family-Style Dinners
Formal plated dinners will always have their place, but family-style meals bring a completely different energy. Passing dishes around the table encourages conversation and makes dinner feel more like a celebration with your closest people. Similar to a buffet experience, this allows guests to choose their serving sizes and dishes.
Mix-and-Match Bridesmaid Dresses
Ok don’t get me wrong- I still love a matching moment. BUT letting your bridal party choose styles that fit their personality and body type is a vibe. I love seeing what each person selects and watching it all come together on the wedding day.
Outfit Changes
I think it is super chic to stay in your wedding dress all night. However, an outfit change just adds another dimension to the reception. Also, who doesn’t want the excuse to buy another wedding outfit??
Private Vow Exchanges
One of my favorites. A private vow exchange gives couples a chance to slow down and have an intimate moment before the whirlwind of the day begins. It allows you to be fully present without feeling like you’re performing for an audience. As a shy girl- this is ideal.
